I hate cams
Alright I am trying to select a new cam for my car. So far I have ran the Cheater and the TSP 233/239 on the 112lsa. I love the low end power of the cheater, however the tsp was stronger up top and had the sound I want. Due to some lifters taking a crap on me the tsp is useless now. I dont wanna use the cheater which I still have since it is a high lift cam.
I am getting rid of my patriot II heads in place of bone stock ls2 heads with the yellow springs, which I believe are good to .580 lift. Since the heads were free I would like to keep this as cheap as possible so please don't give me a list of supporting mods for a cam. I already have everything else to sustain a healthy heads cam setup.
So what my question is,what would be a recommended cam that would have good power under the curve and still have that nasty choppy idle with out being a high lift cam? I daily drive this car but driveability to me is if the car doesnt die when I come to a stop thats good enough for me. With the cheater cam I was at 420rwhp so I would like to have a cam that can make or break those numbers but have the idle of the TSP or nastier
Please I dont need any smartasses telling me I need to search, because I have. I just cant find what I am looking for except alot of threads telling people to use the search: So any ideas info would be greatly appreciated suggestions on were to look or what to stay away from. I know I am asking to have my cake and eat it to but dont we all want that

The ole stock car cams. ASA was a tripple-A series to NASCAR that used LS1 crate motors for a while. They have a nice cam in them that, by the looks of the specs, would be a good street-strip cam.

Any help plz. I have a 2012 Camaro SS six speed. So far long tube headers, high flow cats and complete 3" stainless exhaust. Afraid cold air and sct programmer. I'm looking to add a nasty cam to my ride any suggestions... im looking at the ls stage 3 cam or an Asa cam . Also any suggestions on changing out the rocker arms to 1.8 . What kind of horsepower am I looking at? My goal is 500rwhp ... any info would be greatly appreciated

Any recommendations? Why change out the pushrods too if I use the stock 1.7rockers? Also shat do you think about changing the rockers to 1.8 to get more out of the cam, then I understand the pushrod change out if needed. Also wanted to use Fast's 102mm intake and throttle body.

length pushrod in order to have proper lifter preload since the factory rocker
arms have no adjustability. Also factory pushrods are very weak for higher
rpm applications with high lift/aggressive cam profiles. Valvetrain stability is
dramatically improved with thicker wall aftermarket pushrods.
