How big of a bore can you go with out resleeves?

How big of a bore can you go with out resleeves? Im just checking my options and I wanted some opinions. So whats the biggest I can go safely with the bore on a LS1 block? I have an extra block and it needs to be honned for sure, but Im wondering what I can do. I am thinkin about getting a stroker with a 4 inch crank. Or an all-bore resleeved with a stock crank. Either way diamond pistons and eagle rods. Im trying to see which one is cheaper. which is funny because these are areas where its not a good idea to be cheap
