Default How does this sound?

Mods in sig, add a MS3 cam on 113 LSA, with 918 Springs and Titanium retainers? Would I need Chromoly pushrods? Anything else I am missing? Do you think 400 whp and 11s n/a is doable?

arent the 918 springs only good up to .600 ?

yeah the 918's are only good up to .600 lift. i would go with some PRC springs or even some patriot gold springs i believe.

you should definitely make 400+ rwhp stock heads with that cam. and u should be in the 11's as well.

This place says .625 as well: http://www.exoticperformanceplus.com....html?item=538 but CompCams website says .600.... either way I'm only going over by .009.

I always recommend going with a little extra spring! The dual spring kit is an easy way to ensure that if there is ever a spring problem (breakage), that you don't grenade the entire motor!

Springs are rated for max lift. Anything over that, even if it is .009", that is too much.

I just read a post where a member called Comp and they said these springs are easily good for .620 lift, but they rate them at .600 so people like me who are trying to push it don't blow stuff up. Either way, you guys are probably right, spend an extra hundred bucks now or spend an extra $1500 bucks later...

Texas-Speed should probably clarify the info on their site tho... they even offer the MS3 with these springs as a package. Would hate to see someone blow their motor and blame it on them.

Now... what about those pushrods????

Definitely run dual springs & moly pushrods with that cam.. XER lobes are pretty aggressive & hard on the valvetrain.
