how did you tune it?did you tune in speed density first, getting your back up ve file nailed, then cut and paste to main and smooth?then plug maff back in and recalibrate the maff transfer function?Because i think in 98 threw 2000 they use a ve and a backup ve file.

You can run higher DCR but there are rules to that:

I run 9.1 DCR, 12:1 SCR
BUT
I run TR6 plugs (colder) .035 gap
94 Octane fuel (all the time)
26* max timing at WOT

So unless you can meet these criterias all the time, better stay in the 8.5>8.7 DCR area.

My Primary VE is bang on, +-5 LTFT throughout the driving range. Then I have the MAF recalibrated also along the same lines. I then put it on the dyno and tuned WOT to a 12.8 AFR. It's as bang on as it can get, smooth RPM climbing that even my sister commented to me how smooth it was feeling after I got it tuned right. No one else notices as they are freaked out by anything faster than your typical grocery getter.

I need to keep in mind that when I travel around the states I "may" not be able to get 94... heck as you go out west, sometimes the best you can get is 89...

When I'm near major cities, higher octane is easy to get, it's in between it gets sketchy...
