Default combustion chamber size to achieve 12:1 compression w/ truck heads.

Anyone know what size combustion chamber will produce 12 to 1 compression with truck heads and a stock gm head gasket? How much milling is generally necessary to achieve this?

Right about 54ccs chambers would be needed. Without doing the math they would need to be milled about .050-.060 or so.

Thanks Paul! I just sent you guys an email with the same question. Will an ls6 intake fit properly on truck heads milled .060?

Went with the TR230-couldn't pass it up with the sale they had going on. If I don't reach my goals with the tr230, I'll swap it out for something bigger. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />
