What do you think of this cam spec
99 formula
all the basic bolt ons
auto 3:42 gears
3500 stall
headers
stock heads w/upgraded springs
226/228/556/558 112lsa custom grind
Ive never seen a spec exactly like this, i know its on the small side, but does anyone think it will make descent power?

cams in that range make good power and are very tame on the street.
the lift seems low by modern standards. i would see if you can get some better lobes.
or just go with one of the readily available 228 cams on the market.

what do you mean by "running poorly with those specs, like worse than stock"??
louder, choppier, rougher, or less powerful?
the answers would be yes, yes, yes and no.
i would think with good boltons you could put down 375rwhp with a good tune, and it will drive near stock...just a bit louder

I have something close to that and I love it. It has a very nice idle to it. Although I may get something bigger down the road after I swap out for a 9 inch or 12-bolt.
