unless you race from 2000-4000rpm then quit, that would be much better. 233/239 sounds nice, you have good flowing heads and intake, take advantage of that.

When you buying the heads? You can be my test dummy! TXZ28LS1-BTW, the RPM transmission is working great with the Vig 3200.

are you going to have cutouts or what..... do you want it to be a sleeperp 24/7 or when you have cutouts closed, then when you go to race yuou dont care what it sounds like...

if you go cutouts, and then open them when you race, your options will open up a LOT... if yuour going full exhaust with no cutouts so people can always here what it sounds like.. then yuour cam selection is cut down a lot...

hope that made sense... ill let you know my opinion when you let me know what yhou are going to have in your setup

well if your running a cutout.. you can put stock exhaust on and run a trex, polluter, ms4.. whatever you want and no one will ever know your cammed... but when you uncap it, it will be easy to tell...

to my answer--------------------------------
i say go for something along the lines or a torqer v.2..... when you get your car tuned, get the idle moved up... that will take the lope out and you will still have the power of a decent sized cam..... put some 5.3 or ls6 heads on, whichever you can get at the time, full exhaust that is quiet, with some e-cutouts... 3500 stall, and 373s... you will be set, should be good for 400+rwhp easy.. good street maners..

*****disclaimer....

please dont make a decision based on what i am saying, i am trying to help is all.. this is an opinion.....

my mods.. ms4 cam ls6 heads 4000 stall 410s lts into 1 chamber race flowmasters xpipe.....

i by no means am an expert in the field of stealthy cars.. i like people to hear me coming, and sound mean as ****... not saying that is the best thing... its just my thing.. also like to make max hp.. mine should be a track car.. but i DD it about 50 miles a day..

just let me know if you have any other questions..

i did 385/338 on a dyno that read about 20 low on hp and tq... that was no heads through a ported 90/90 410s 4000 stall...

i should pick up 40rwhp with the ls6 heads..
for referance I did 419/413 with the 233/239v.2 and PRC 2.5's 90/90 in an unlocked stalled auto this was on a safe nitrous tune not meant for peak N/A power.

with any of those it would still be blatantly obvious you are cammed even with stock exhaust

i beg to differ.. have you ever heard it? if not you would **** your pants.... friend of mine had a 00 z28.. ms4 ls6 intake supporting mods... had stock exhaust for about a week... the ONLY way you could tell there was a cam is if you put your ear right down to the exhaust you could hear it going bub'bub'bub'bub.. sounded more like a miss than anything.. and it was as quiet as stock... most stealthy setup ive ever seen/heard..

he pulled up and i didnt believe him that he hadnt done all of his mods.. it took about 10 minutes before i believed him

Good #'s. San Angelo huh? Good 'ole Grams! lol

The more overlap, the more lope the cam will have. I would like to see the TV3 with the 5.3's. I personally think your best bet is to call TSP and tell them what your aiming for. You can always have a custom cam ground, which I think would better suit your needs.

Most of the crew was at the LSX shootout. I'm sure they will get in here tomorrow when they return to the shop.
