Default Milling L92's

How far can you mill L92 heads? I have a chance to buy some Diamond pistons for a good price and they are -10.0 cc pistons. I would like to get around 11:5 to 1 compression but don't know if it will be possible with these pistons.

By my rough calculations you would have to mill those heads to get rid of about 12 or so cc's and that equates to about .072 off the heads. That seems way too much. You would also have to use a .040 gasket or less. Maybe someone can give you exact specs on exactly what would need to come off those heads.

Upon further review I get 11.555 with 65cc heads and .040 gasket. So if the L92's come in around 69 cc you would need to mill .024 off the heads which would be fine. Again just rough numbers need you exact motor specs to get it spot on. Bore stroke all that stuff.

I just milled my WCCH L92's .045 to drop them down to 68cc from 77cc as they come From Proheads. Richard told me it would be fine and I would have a little more room to go if I had to
