Ls1 to Ls3 questions.

I had an ls1 motor trans am and now going to an ls3 swap camaro. When i go to buy headers and any other parts for it, I need to buy the ls3 corvette parts correct?

You have to get the F-body exhaust, and anything else depands on what you buy.

so i need to buy ls1 headers then catback etc.

also what oil weight should i run?

The headers you use for the LS3 are dependant on the vehicle you are putting it in. Not the engine. For the LS3 in FBody swap, use the LS/FBody headers and exhaust. It would be different if it were an LS7 you were swapping as the LS7 has 12 degree heads and may throw header angle off making the exhaust install impossible. But you will be ok with the FBody headers and exhaust.
I'm basically doing the same swap.

So you guys are saying if I was to buy a LS3 C6 I could use my headers & exhaust that are on my WS6?
Theyre 1 7/8 Kooks,3 inch Ypipe,and GMMG. Would that work on the C6? I think Id have to buy an Xpipe though?
What about my nitrous kit? Its a TNT 78mm Power Ring Kit. Will that work?
