Default ASP Underdrive Pulley ???

Will a LS1 underdrive pulley bolt up to a LS3 if im using all the F-body accesories? My Ls3 is from a corvette, but i am switching to the Fbody alternator bracket and fbody belt tensioner, just wondering if anything else is needed to make the ASP pulley work on the LS3. thanks

I wouldn't run the asp pulley, many people have had problems with them spinning on the crank and the rubber will seperate and will eventually cause the timing chain to snap. Just look at anyone who has a chain snap and they are running an asp.

I've had an ASP pulley on my car for a number of years. Quite a few miles.
No issues with spinning or breaking timing chains.

As far as I can tell ASP is the industry standard, I'm sure there are better ones out there but you pay alot more for them. For the price and quality it seems like ASP is just fine... I view as the Pacesetter LT's equivelant... there's better but they are just fine and great for the price.

There have been a couple LS3 vettes with timing chain breaks. The cars had ASP pulleys on them. I don't think it is conclusive, but it has some concerned about its ability to dampen. You might check with 1.8t, he recently experienced a break.

ASP SEEMS ok on the Gen III motors but on any Gen IV I would nut up for ATI. The ASP problem seems to be GEN IV specific and what's $200 compared to a motor...........

My ASP pullies rubber inside (for lack of better term) started cracking and the outside of the pulley started to wobble. Do a search for "ASP wobble" (if the search is working) and you will get more info on it. I am now running a Powerbond/SLP pulley. Been on about a year and no issues. Think I paid about $180 shipped on a group purchase.
