Default L92 Intake?

What intakes (fuel injected) can be used with the L92 heads now that the L76 intake package is discontinued?

LS3 for cars (Corvette), L92 for truck(Escalade).

It was good of them to come on the board and finally say something-it is a definite improvement from the 1st aftermarket intake that was suppose to be available 2 years ago..

But just to clarify, the intake in question, was originally suppose to be available to the public in January-when this wasn't met it was then changed to April.

Obviously I hope I am wrong. But this is the same pattern that the 1st intake followed (granted in the infant stages-but nevertheless).

I work for a Chevy dealer and had our parts mgr research the intake kit only to find it is discontinued with no replacement coming. Has anyone heard different? It can be bought piece by piece for around $1500 instead of $600 for the kit.

you can piece it together for cheap. i got an ls3 intake off ebay for $110 shipped. you can also go with an l76 intake.

looks good for a race car but if you have a hard time getting races with a plastic intake try that lol is that a 4150 or 4500?

Yes It isn't for everyone, or every hood. I just had to show it off though.

Actually I don't know if it would fit under that hood. This is a transplant into a Vega drag car. Here is a pic of it on the engine so it can give you a better look.

Well it had an issue on the dyno last Monday and had a rod beat the crank up. The crank is being turned and a rod being replaced. No clue what happened, just one of those things.

It has bone stock L92 heads except the springs and the first un-tuned pull was 576hp at 6400rpm. It should spin to 7200rpm when everything is working correctly I think. I hope that number goes up! (I bet it will)

It should run again this coming Monday I hope.

SDPC recieved a batch of complete LS3 intakes. Check and see if they have any remaining. GMPP will re release the LS3 intake kit very shortly.
