Default fuel rails, intakes, and injectors

Despite the change in the hight of the injectors should these all be interchangable between Ls engines? I'm told they should be but im trying to put Ls1 injectors into an l76 intake with an ls2 fuel rail. Doesnt seem to match up right even w/ spacers for the fuel injectors. Anyone try else this?

Did you also get new injectors o-rings since the LS1 injectors have a different diameter bottom o-ring than the LS2, 3, 7 injectors? What isn't matching up?

I'm using LS2 style orings. I had them in my ls2 intake for a while.

it seems as though the fuel rail is the wrong width. the fuel injectors will actually make it into the holes on the manifold but the top of the injectors are at an angel. its breaking the seal between the oring and the rail and fuel is leeking out.

I'm reading that the ls2 and ls3 fuel rails are the same part number so I'm not sure why this isn't lining up.

would the orings for the manifold be different from an ls2 to ls3?

I was using those orings on my ls2 when i was running ls1 injectors. still have them on the ls1 injectors that are going into the ls3/l76 intake.

it just seems like the fuel rail itself isnt lined up correctly with the intake.

The LS2 fuel rails are wider than the LS1, FAST sells an adapter kit that adapts the injector height and width.

So an LS1 rail can be used on an LS2 injectors/intake with different o rings and adapters?
