That factory airbox is probably killing some of the power potential as well. Remember, the intake manifold can only flow as much as the airbox will supply. Gotta find the weakest link and fix that.

So the Fast 102 picked up 25 to 30cfm over the stock LS3 intake from .300 lift on up!! That should make some noticeable gains on a bigger motor that could use more airflow.

I don't think there is any debate about whether or not a stock FAST will outperform a stock LS3 intake.

The bigger ?'s and "issues" are does a stock FAST outperform a ported LS3 and will there be someone out there with a proven porting program for the FAST intake.

Actually the key part is you shouldn't have to port a $900 aftermarket intake so it outperforms a $300 ported stock manifold.

OK so I have this nice pretty LS3 Fast intake on my car and the fuel rail is not close to the injectors fitting in the intake about 1/4 inch short. This is a LS3 style fuel rail and injectors. I looked at the pics in this thread and the Texas Speed thread and it didnt look like there was any modification to the fuel rail. So apparently a different fuel rail or different injectors were used, whats the deal??

Well for that much money you would think they cold throw this in but I guess not.

If you go to the FAST website, there's a manifold application guide. For the LS3, to use stock fuel rails, you'll need to get the FAST fuel injector spacer kit (#146025-KIT), or you can replace the fuel rail and get the FAST billet fuel rail kit(#146027-KIT).

Thanks, yeah you would think that would be included with the intake for the cost.

How much are the spacers??

You would have to at least port match the FAST for ported L92's anyway 69LT1Bird.
To get the most out of it.

Where do you buy that truck manifold?

Why would I have asked that? Mods? what's the deal here?
Can the poster of that info please pm me. Thanks.

My car is basically ready to run. I want to run it tomorrow night but it is a 50% chance of rain and rained most of the day today in Cent FL. We are going to get the A/F set at 12.5 at WOT because thats where this car runs best and thats where it was with the ported L76 intake. I'm gonna drive around with the wideband before the track (hope it doesnt rain), it surely will be off a bit going from a 92mm TB to a 102mm.
I will be running the car at test n tune all day Sat then the DH11 track rental in Bradenton on Sat night and a streetcar shootout race, should get plenty of runs to get it dialed in from 10am till 10pm. Daytime Sat will be warm so it will be a good comparison to the ETs with ported intake vs Fast 102.
