Well at least you got 5 votes. But no one to tell you why lol. Out of curiosity what is this ls2 going to be in? A Corvette or GTO or possibly an F-body?

LG makes a great header, but ARH is our favorite. Excellent quality, fit, and performance.

I think 1 7/8 is a bad idea for a 364ci motor, especially a setup for a blower car since the cam Im assuming isnt large at all. I would go with 1 3/4 for your setup regardless what brand of LT's you get. I would use 1 3/4 all the way till a 383ci motor.

why do you say use the 1 3/4? the cam is a 240 duration/.609 lift. and one reason i was going with the 1 7/8 is because one day i plan on doing a 404ci stroker. but why wouldnt the 1 7/8 be just as good on that size engine(364)

The larger primary tubes on that size engine will loose a little down low, especially with the larger cam. I saw the "blower set-up" and would have agreed with the bigger tubes as the air would be forced thru. I like the idea of the larger hedders for the future build tho. I have sacrificed for the future to save money. Hedders are expensive to buy 2X's.

haha yeah i bet it is expensive buying headers twice, thats why i wanted to get the bigger ones now so i wouldnt have to buy later when i do the whole build for the bigger engine. it will be a supercharged 404ci stroker in case everybody else is wondering what im talking about.

He might chime in if he sees this thread but I remember following allgnC5's thread and he gained power switching from LG's to the 1 7/8 ARH. Even though his is a H/C 402 I would think it would be similar results just on a smaller scale for a stock cube and headed engine.

It would be especially nice since you could just swap them over after you do your stroker. I wish I would have thought that far into the future when I bought headers.

the only reason i have thought this far into the future is because i dont have the funds to have to do it twice haha. so i am making sure its exactly like i want/in the budget before i drop money on something.

Thats exactly it. BUT since you mentioned you will be doing a 400ci+ motor in the future, go ahead and get the 1 7/8. BTW I do believe LG makes 1 7/8 now
