90mm MAF Options?
90mm MAF Options? I was wondering if anyone could tell me which 90mm MAF's are out there. I would like to know the manufacturer of the MAF, as well as where it can be purchased. Thanks

I am looking for the same. I have a 90 TB and don't really want to go down to an 85MAF.
I am thinking a LS3/LS7 style GM sensor that is just a blade, and plug it into a 4" tube right after the air cleaner. Then start with the factory calibration and tune from there.

I was wrong, they are 85mm's. My bad. There is another thread on here about 100TB's. They talk about different set-ups in there. Check it out!

I think all of the GM MAFs are 85. They would probably be the easiest to tune. There are some pretty cool aftermarket 100's out there, but they are all around $300 and then they may be tough to tune. I saw a LS3 blade on ebay for $80, should have bought it. I have good hp with my SD tune and 90TB. I want to try a MAF for drivability in all conditions, but I don't want to loose any hp, so this GM blade is looking like a good experiment. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...EF:MOTORS:1123

The aftermarket 100 mm MAF's are trickier to tune. I know the TSP MAF has a different scale for the IAT sensor as I was getting 65000 degree intake temp readings on my scan gauge. Go 85mm or ported ends for the stock MAF. If that's not enough, Speed Density is the next logical step.
