L92 swap to C5: Crank pulley needed?
Tried using the LS1 balancer and that isn't fitting, won't fully seat as if the L92 crank is a different, larger size on the snout.
Anyone putting an 07 Escalade, bottom end in a vette? What harmonic balancer did you end up using, for what year?

Thanks anyways guys...
I appreciate the links but unfortunately, there's no mention of any differences between crank snouts on say an LS1 to L92/LS3 requiring the need for a different pulley. I just got off the phone with Scoggin and LPE and they actually say there isn't a difference and have used crank pulleys between them with no problem. This probably explains why the links don't mention anything, cause there is no difference... LOL..., kinda.
I'm pretty stumped since I'm using a pulley installer and this thing, after going as far as it can, is no where nears where it should be. The installer is fully threaded into the crank so it's not a friction against threads issue and the pulley I've used previously on an LS1 crank, so the problem isn't with it...
I guess I'll take measurements of my LS1 pulley versus the pulley that came off the L92 and see if there's a difference.

I'm an idiot...
Before heading out to my buddies, I figure I'd make one last attempt....
After checking the surface of the crank snout and seeing it was in good shape, I cleaned the inside of the pulley and put a bit of anti-seize in there for good measure. Got my installer threaded all the way in, lined up the pulley and started tightening her down.
Guess what... it went all the way down this time!
Metal to metal galling is no joke and anti-seize is the shIIt!
The end...
