It's really up in the air if you'll pass the sniffer or not with welding on catalytic converters. Did you get LT's with egr and air provisions? As far as visual, NO, you will not pass a visual. All cars in California must have factory equipped exhaust manifolds and factory equipped catalytic converters.

Nope. It will fail the visual, even if it passes the sniffer test.
CARB smog requires OEM cats in the OEM location, and if you have anything other than factory exhaust manifolds they need a CARB exemption #.

well if you had a shop that could hook you up, I'm a little lost at what the question is. If the shop is going to over look the visual, the sniffer shouldn't be a problem.
