Why do you want to go to drive by wire? Cable parts are cheaper. I believe your computer doesnt have the programming needed and a tune cant just add it.

I can see the reasoning for wanting to go with drive by wire, the fact that computer controls the throttle on shifts and things like that, but I imagine it would be complicated. Try using a C5 corvette throttle and possibly computer if you have to go that far. That's as far as my knowledge goes on this subject lol

Since you've got a 24 reluctor, your best bet is a truck computer, TAC module, harness, TB, and pedal assembly.
Cruise is controlled in the computer/TAC.

or just do a L92 or LS3 conversion.... swap your pan, accessories etc. gain half a liter of displacement, better heads and get the drive by wire.

oh and if you do go dbw, get the 87mm throttle body ported... oh and dbw throttle response is AMAZING.

Thats wrong,
His car is a 2000 and the computer is the same one found in a 2000 Corvette. Just put a corvette file in the computer and wire in the petal and TB.

Let me know if you want to swap your engine harness for a 2000 C5 engine harness. I am getting ready to modify a harness for my '69 Nova conversion, and it would be easier if I started with an F-body harness instead of the C5 harness that I already have.

I guess the file can be just swapped in then. Still seems like alot of work for no performance gain and minimal driving comfort. Not only do you have the cost of the swap but things like throttle bodies are more expensive.

Not sure how it would effect things like traction control and cruise control also. Its possible his car doesnt have traction control.
