And just to have a counterpoint on an engine that would actually show a gain with a cam and headers, etc.

I've seen those sites and the claims and fasterproms etc etc. I was wondering about independent dyno results is all to see if anyone actually made more. Plus the LS3/L76 intake is LOT smoother inside than the LS2 intake and I just dont see a lot of gains to be had in porting it aside from taking out the pillars and the PCV inlet tube.

OP whatever happened to dyno results???

Considering the traffic, the views, the lack of any posts proving any real gains from porting the LS3 intake that are not from a porter. Im too leaning towards a

Plus it took FAST a Loooooooong time to develop the 102MM intake and during development there was a bunch of chatter about how difficult it was for FAST to improve upon the design of the LS3 ( L76 then ) and get any real gains.

Then they finally release the thing and the gains are very minimal and completely not worth the $$$ unless you have a big cube motor.

So once again my hat goes off to the general for a brilliant piece of performance engineering. Which is precisely why I love GM in the first place and especially love LS engines. These things are well designed and well built and last the test of time.

So theres a few hundred bucks more in my pocket it seems.

No BS here. Started new job and have been in and out of hospital with health issues. Have not dynoed it. I did install it but did not dyno it. Ran it at track with ported intake. Car went 10.66 N/A. First time out. It did not lose power. I bet it was worth 10 rwhp. If I dynoed it and lost power I would post it. A/F on wideband went from 12.6 to 12.8 after install so it is moving more air.
