Default will a ls7 flywheel work on a ls2?

I scored a complete ls7 clutch setup including flywheel for my lq9. Will the flywheel work?

It seems like the crank hub bolt patterns are different between the two. The LS7 clutch kit I bought for my LS1 came with an LS2 flywheel for this reason.

I wish people would do more research before posting. They didn't change the crank flange pattern until the LS9. GM only has one part number for 2005-2010 Corvettes for "Flywheel, Corvette, w/o supercharger".

I had my parts guy research this a lot...I CAN find different flywheel part numbers for things like...LS2 GTO's...but thats about it.

A friend and I both ordered identical complete "LS7" setups for our cars, I haven't installed mine yet, but he wrapped his up last night, bought everything right from my friend at a parts counter at a dealer, everything bolted right into his car, and it all works fine. I DO see different pn's for the pressure plate/friction disc kit between 6.0 liter cars and 7.0 liter cars...which is essentially the difference for an LS7.

Post up a picture or part number of your flywheel if you want, and I'll say "yes thats the same as mine" or "no thats not the same as mine"...should be the same thing.

The bolt pattern is the same between the LS7 and LS2. The LS7 clutch system is a common upgrade in the 2004-2007 CTS-V community (LS6/LS2 engines).
