Hi all,
Just a quick q for you guys running 102 fast intakes on your stock block? Thinking about springing for the intake and NW 102 tb and 4" cai. My q is: what size heads should i go with this to make the best power with a decent cam and the 102 pkg? Heard anything from porting my stock 243's to 245's! Thought 245's need a bigger displacement (400+). Will they work on the stock LS2? Any help on this appreciated! BTW 05 GTO M6, 1 3/4 kooks, catback, 3:91, suspension work.

Probably depends on your budget. If $$$ is not a big deal then go with some AFR or TFS heads. If trying to do it on a budget I would say some ported 243's would make good power too. Could also go with some ported 5.3 heads for a small bump in compression to make a tad more power too.

wow I used to live in Hampton, maybe I know you? Was there 2001-2007 working at Langley AFB. And yes I wanna get in the 11 sec club!! Yes I like the AFR's but dont know which size 205, 225. 1 person suggested 245. Thought 245 would be too much for a stock 346? Money good right now so want the best.

There are sets of l92 heads going around for $500...
Cam/spring/pushrod package $625 IIRC
Head gaskets/ARP bolts - $250
L76 intake (you dont really need the fast, plus with this you can use your stock TB) $250

bang, 485RWHP.... Around $1500

In one post you said Ls2? another 346? L92's will work great on a Ls2 364 motor but will not fit a 346 Ls1-6 Bore.
