Twin throttle carbon fiber intake manifold
Hi Guys, just wanted to share some intake manifold testing that we are doing; Tested on a cam-only LS3 engine that was being setup for a blower. While not the ideal cam for N/A, it gave a decent result of 478rwhp. The intake MAP recorded zero pressure drop right the way to redline. Hope you enjoy:

On this setup it gained 21rwhp with back-to-back testing. It would see a higher delta as the power output increases. The GM manifolds are pretty nice designs and work well up to a certain point. This manifold was designed to work where the stock one starts to drop off (>500 engine hp)

NICE. Ever since I looked at a Dodge Viper engine I was wondering when someone was going to make an intake like that for LS motors. Seems fairly easy to add or subtract runner length to optimise power for different engine combo's.

Really cool. What size tb's did you go with? I do like the modular construction, as it appears you can change runner length like another poster mentioned. Speed density I imagine? Would look great on my Vette

It pretty much follows the torque curve of the stock manifold up to about 4500rpm, after this it starts to pull away. With the long runners, it performs well down low unlike the shorter runner sheet-metal intakes.
