Default Twin throttle carbon fiber intake manifold

Hi Guys, just wanted to share some intake manifold testing that we are doing; Tested on a cam-only LS3 engine that was being setup for a blower. While not the ideal cam for N/A, it gave a decent result of 478rwhp. The intake MAP recorded zero pressure drop right the way to redline. Hope you enjoy:

This has been on the back of my mind for a while. Knowing that BMW has a tb for each cylinder, this should really help the rpm. Very nice to see you went forward with it, great evolutionary LSX idea!

Yeah, I got the idea from Lamborghini

I don't know how much you'll gain over a Fast 102 Combo

But it looks cool

What did it gain from the stock intake?

On this setup it gained 21rwhp with back-to-back testing. It would see a higher delta as the power output increases. The GM manifolds are pretty nice designs and work well up to a certain point. This manifold was designed to work where the stock one starts to drop off (>500 engine hp)

Got a guess on how much someone would sell this manifold for?

NICE. Ever since I looked at a Dodge Viper engine I was wondering when someone was going to make an intake like that for LS motors. Seems fairly easy to add or subtract runner length to optimise power for different engine combo's.

Great job. You beat me to it. Exactly the same idea I had. How was tuning?

Really cool. What size tb's did you go with? I do like the modular construction, as it appears you can change runner length like another poster mentioned. Speed density I imagine? Would look great on my Vette

How was torque in the 2500 - 3800 rpm band where the stock manifold is flat?

Great looking product. Similar to a harrop but twin tb's instead of 8 singles. Mind you CF construction is waaaaay nicer for numerous reasons. Theres a few big cube NA build threads rolling around in here id LOVE to see one of these on and get results.

You called???

A couple 85-90mm TB's would be sweet. I see you also have an ITB setup that looks like it uses the same runners...Very interesting.

It pretty much follows the torque curve of the stock manifold up to about 4500rpm, after this it starts to pull away. With the long runners, it performs well down low unlike the shorter runner sheet-metal intakes.
