Default What underdrive pulley do I need to go with?

I was told to get a Power Bond, but don't know much else.

It'll be going on a 5.3L engine.

any links would be appreciated, too.

Thanks.

It doesn't really matter what engine you're running, but rather what vehicle the other belt driven accessories are from. Is your powers steering, alternator, AC, etc are all from a 4th gen F-body you will need the 4th gen F-body pulley. If they're from a truck, you run the truck pulley, etc.

I am running the truck accessories. I just wasn't sure if there were different sizes, etc... It's been years since I bought a pulley.

Yes sir, you'll need the truck pulley for alignment reasons. All the 99-11 trucks use the same pulley.

If you're under-driving it, I can't think of any good reason why NOT to go ahead and go 25%. If your alternator or another accessory is weak and can't keep up when under-driven 25%, it's still going to be hurting at 10% as well.

The 25% is more commonly found on the shelf, is the same price in many instances or even a bit less due to most shops stocking more of them than the 10% and therein getting a better price.

I put a March underdrive pulley on my car yeeeeears ago. I never changed anything else. Not to say you won't have to, but for me, I was able to ONLY change the underdrive pulley.
