Ok. I guess I have to be more specific. I need a waterpump for a 434 twin turbo LSX with close to 1000 hp. The car will see lots of street time. Should I stay with a belt driven pump or go with an electric one?

Unless you're having trouble with the stock pump, I'd run that.
Do you have a huge cooler in front of your radiator? If anything a better radiator is where I would start if you have cooling issues.

I've used the stock GM and am presently using the Edelbrock belt driven pump. The electrics are nice and allow you to cool the engine while its off but they are $$$. Like posted above a good rad. like a Davis or Be-Cool would help more then the actual pump.
