Do not get solid mounts unless the car is a race car. I have the Spohn solids in my car and I hate hate hate it. Car has more rattles than I care to want to mention.

I went from stock to polys, now I am at solids. I love my solid motor mounts.

Got the solids off here from a member on here, 100.00 shipped. No rattles here. solids and never looked back. Stock trans mount tho, poly trans mount had a horrible vibration 100+ so I went back to a stock gm mount and its gone.

I get a lot of my parts from Mike @ WS6store. He can get you squared away with the polys or solids.

Motovative solid mounts. Vibrations yes but the engine stays in place which is the whole point

I have MWC solids and they do give more vibration, but not a big deal.

Poly motormounts. Decreased my Y-pipe floor bang and the extra vibration from the engine isn't bad. For the street I recomend poly, for the strip go solids.

Ive had my engine bolted in solid for several years.

If other parts of the car rattle, either it's a piece of ****, or it needs fixed.

My engine is a conversion in a 30year old car, and the engine is nice and smooth and no rattles.
The only thing that rattles in mine is the shitty rose jointed 4-linker rear axle.

I'd have no hesitation in using solid engine mounts or recommending them
