Gen III Truck dyno results with Radical Ported Intake from Peak Speed Shop For those who have been asking, we are now able to Radical port the GenIII GM Truck intakes. Here is a link to a before/after dyno that was done on a stock 2001 GMC Sierra 1500 with a 5.3L engine.

Some have asked about our porting process. Peak Speed Shop uses a three step process for porting intake manifolds and throttle bodies.

Some have asked about our porting process. Peak Speed Shop uses a three step process for porting intake manifolds and throttle bodies.
First, we use a steel crosscut bur for removing most of the material in key areas and to smooth transitions and ridges for better air flow.
Second, we us sanding rolls for smoothing out the area that had material removed by the crosscut bur.
Last, we using buffing pads to polish the work.
Unlike some businesses that do porting on the side, porting intake manifolds and throttle bodies is our primary business. 102mm Radical Ported Intake Manifold for L92 owners
We have had repeated requests asking when the FAST 102 LSXrt truck intake manifold would be available for the newer GM trucks with rectangular ported heads. We haven't heard of any plans for FAST to put this into production. This has prompted us at Peak Speed Shop to create our own....
Porting intake manifolds and throttle bodies is Peak Speed Shop's primary business. We have perfected a method for completely opening up the plenum "tunnel" and removing additional barriers that restrict air flow in the 6.2L truck manifolds. This is in addition to porting the intake runners for better airflow. For the Radical 102, we also enlarge the throttle body opening on the intake manifold to accommodate a larger 102mm throttle body. We sell the Nick Williams 102mm drive by wire and FAST 102mm drive by cable throttle bodies for this application.
We will be ready to take orders very soon. You will be able to order from our inventory or can send your intake manifold in for conversion. Details coming soon!

Radical 102 gains 23 RWHP! Just got this great note from a RADICAL 102 LS3 car customer!

Stands up just fine under boost. The process we now use for Radical porting no longer requires us to cut off the top then reattach it. We can do all of the plenum work through the throttle body opening. That helps maintain the structural integrity of the intake manifold and now allows it to be used in forced induction applications.

Enthused Customer! Listen to what this customer has to say about his Peak Speed Shop Radical ported intake manifold on his 4.8L Silverado....
“I got my intake put on, wow what a difference. I don’t have a dyno test but I do have a Diablo Trinity programmer so I’ve always done logs after every mod on my truck. Well the most grams per sec of air its ever logged was 230g/s and a soon as I put this intake on I logged it and it showed 240g/s. That’s a big difference. I could even hear it, it sounded like it was sucking a lot more air.”
Several days later….
“Hey bob, after the tune we got it up to 242g/s. That’s a big improvement. Also before I put the intake on my best 0-60 was 7.9. Now after the intake and the new tune, I’m sitting at 7.68. That’s damn good. Thanks a lot bob. I really appreciate it.”
