Talked to Racetronix, that harness will work because LS1/2/7 use a Delphi plug and the LS3 uses a Bosch plug, and I'm using a LS1 sensor.
I did pull the plug out of the back of my intake, guess I can always put a rubber plug in if I don't need it. I don't have HVAC anymore, maybe I don't need that to read the MAP?

Knock sensors, yes, the block is drilled and tapped and I have the harness to put them on both sides of the block.
Thanks
Which Valley cover are you using, LS3?
I assume it doesn't have provisions for KS?
If an LS6 cover is used with KS, does the LS3 intake hit them?

I bought a used factory take off LS3 intake w/valley cover from a guy that put a supercharger on a 2010 camaro.
I don't know what you mean "KS"?

Knock Sensors go on the side of the block..I would tap them out to M10x1.5 and use your current Knock Sensors.

It's a shame how much they charge for that wiring..something so simple.

Ahh! KS = Knock Sensors!
Yes, my block is drilled and tapped and the sensors are in there already.
Used this harness with my LS1 knock sensors:
http://www.racetronix.biz/itemdesc.a...2-KSRH&eq=&Tp=

Used this thread to see where to drill and tap:

95wannabe, go to post #59 and see the pic.
Use the "Normal" hole to drill and tap.

ok thanks for the link/pic of where to drill.
I'm only using LS3 topend on an LQ4, so it looks I need LS3 valley cover instead of the LS6.

NO, use the LS6. It's a Gen III Block.

Or, just put the map in the same place as the picture above shows and plug it in?

One more thing, my MAP sensor extension is this one:

http://www.racetronix.biz/itemdesc.a...2-MSEH&eq=&Tp=

I now notice it says it's for LS2 applications - will it still work with what I'm doing here?

Thanks
Does anyone know why they are doing what they are doing in the first 2 links with the map and the back of the intake?
Thanks

To get a Vacuum into the LS1 Map...making that one alot more complicated. The T should be at the back of the Intake so the wiring reaches.

I have the map sensor extension harness, so I can get the wiring up there, right?

If you can get the LS1 Sensor to stay in the Intake, yes.
