Default Dyno Results from Radical Ported TBSS Intake Manifold

Here are Dyno Results from TBSS Intake Manifold Radically Ported + Throttle Body Ported by Peak Speed Shop
Dyno-tune results provided by MadTunes Racing - Oak Grove, LA

"As far as performance, it is definitely a noticable difference. It should easily pick up .2 in the 1/4 and in my opinion is worth the money! " Adam - West Monroe, LA

Stock 2006 Trailblazer SS with cat back exhaust. A tune was done prior to the "before" results to factor out the effects of just tuning the stock setup. Dyno was before/after test on ported intake and throttle body only.
9.12 Gain in Peak RWHP
11.25 Gain in Peak RWTQ

Gains were seen throughout the power curve with points in the curve seeing as high as:
13 Gain in RWHP
20 Gain in RWTQ

Note: Vehicles with head and cam mods should see even better results.

Not bad gains for just some porting of a stock intake.

^ true. Also I find it very hard to believe that an average of ~10 hp gain will pick up .2 on a vehicle as heavy as a tbss, I think it'd be worth under a tenth with just the porting.

Default GenIII Radical Ported Intake Dyno Results.

For those who have been asking, we are now able to Radical port the GenIII GM Truck intakes. Here is a link to a before/after dyno that was done on a stock 2001 GMC Sierra 1500 with a 5.3L engine.

Default Peak Speed Shop porting process

Peak Speed Shop Porting Process

Some have asked about our porting process. Peak Speed Shop uses a three step process for porting intake manifolds and throttle bodies.
First, we use a steel crosscut bur for removing most of the material in key areas and to smooth transitions and ridges for better air flow.

Second, we us sanding rolls for smoothing out the area that had material removed by the crosscut bur.

Last, we using buffing pads to polish the work.
Unlike some businesses that do porting on the side, porting intake manifolds and throttle bodies is our primary business. We have earned a good reputation for quality work and service at competitive prices.

Go to our website at http://www.peakspeedshop.com/ for more information, or call us at 719-651-1952.

We have two specials going on right now.....
Save $50 on throttle body porting if we do it at same time as your intake manifold. Just $75 (regularly $125).

Free shipping on orders over $800.

Prices went up slightly. You can save $25 if we port your throttle body at the same time as the intake manifold. Regular price for porting the throttle body is $125. You pay just $100 if done at the same time as the intake manifold. Here is the link for that:

That is some radical porting on the manifold. Wonder why all that material is there from the factory.
