I have a LS2 402 in a 2000 T/A. Vic Jr intake with accufab 4150 TB. I am putting a Moroso Catch Can on the motor. My problem is the following:

Where can I run PCV from or do I need it with this setup?

Where do I run the hoses to and from the catch can from?

Any help would be appreciated.

 

I had the same problem and I just did it this way. I run the PCV+ hose straight out the back of the drivers side valve cover to the back of the passenger side valve cover. Then have a hose from the front of the passenger side valve cover and t'd with hose from the valley cover to the catch can, then the top hose of the catch can to the TB. Hope that makes sense...........

Valley cover -> catch can -> PVC -> vacuum side of TB

The valve covers usually go to the free air side of the TB.

That write up is great but I need something for a vic jr and accufab 4150 setup.

 

Pretend the write up is 3D. Pretend the intake is pointed up instead of to the front of the motor. Done. :-)

The PVC valve hose simply needs to connect to the vacuum side of the manifold. Somewhere between the TB and heads. Preferable close the the throttle body. The port on the 7th cylinder is for the brake booster.

 

Could I tee off the side just under the tb where I have the map sensor hooked up to? I don't want to mess up the map reading. And then use a port off the back of the tb for the clean air to valve cover?

Also, do I need to run a PVC valve inline off the catch can?

I would avoid a T with the MAP. Just in case. You may not want to, but you can drill a hole and tab it with a NPT tap.

Your valve cover will connect to the front of the TB. Your catch can to the back.
