I still havent done this yet. Ive been running it forward and just dealing with the engine heat in my boat. Its spring time now and something I'm looking into again.

So please correct me if I'm wrong:

1: I can flatten the cover (without milling) and use the spendy adapter without modifiying the LS3 intake.

2: I can flatten the cover (without milling) and use the cheaper adapter and modify the LS3 intake .

3: I can mill the cover recessed and use either adapter without modifying the intake.

------

How difficult is the modification the the LS3 intake? Can you just heat it up with a torch ever so slightly untill it is bendable and push in a bit for clearance or do you have to cut out and patch the hole?

Thanks

Its been a while since I did this for my GTM, but I wanna say I milled it down and welded in a $3 bung. Took like 15 min.
