intake and heads

Can you put a ls6 intake on a ls1 or do you have to swap heads like I'm figuring? Also can you put lsx heads on a ls1

the LS6 intake will bolt on to any LSX head with cathedral ports.

You can put some LSx heads on. You have to ensure they are "small bore" heads and are not 6 bolt heads.

for a LS1, the AFR 205s are hard to beat for a stock cube LS1. A FAST intake isn't really good bang for your buck though.

The shop told me I can't beat a fast intake but I could buy a ls6 intake if I wanted. But what cam should I get. I'm trying to research so I know if I can trust them. I was quoted 3100 in parts but they didn't include the 10 mm throttle body I'd have to buy for the fast intake.

Guess I should do a 90/90 or a 92/92 intake I just wanna make power so your input is helping

what are your power goals? Yes, the fast will make more, but you are looking at about 20hp over the LS1 intake at a cost of about $900 just for the manifold....

You gotta give us what your goals are, what your budget is, ect....

I don't wanna go over 500 because of stock bottom end and 10 bolt diff

More realistically I'm looking for 450 rwhp narrowed it down to AFR 210 heads cuz I can't find 205 heads a fast 92 intake and trying to find the best .600" lift to compliment heads
