Default It's Aliiive....Aliiiiiiiiive!

Got it fired up today after the GMPP CNC LS3 head/LS3 intake/LS2 throttle body, custom cam from Martin @ Tick, custom return-style fuel system, LS7 MAF conversion, and a Vararam. For some reason the wide-band isn't working, will have to check the wiring for it. Getting tuned by Mayhem Motorsports in Durham, NC on 9 June.

Still need to bleed fluids, top off fluids, and put some body parts back on before I can see if it will drive lol.

Charging system fault I have to work thru unfortunately. Also the idle has gotten a lot better sounding as it has been brought to operating temp a few times. Will upload another video later today.

Rather disappointed in the results today. 475/450. I was expecting in the 525-550 range. Tuner says that LS3 heads require a lot larger header primary and exhaust than cathedral port heads do. Said I would pick up probably an easy 30 if not more based on the builds they have done. So I guess I will be selling the LG Street Series headers/x-pipe and Corsa Tigershark exhaust and go with Kooks 2" and either Kooks dual 3" or LG dual 3"

You are not losing power because of the primary size on the headers. They are fine. Plus you don't have a whole lot of duration on the exhaust side with your cam as well. There is an issue somewhere else. And a Dyno is for tuning. It is just a tool. Take it to another Dyno and I bet you make 500+rwhp. But we have made 550+rwhp with 1 3/4" LG street headers. You can go with the 2" setup but I think you are going to lose lowend and pickup very little top end power for the amount of money you are going to spend. Do some research...there are plenty of setups that have made the switch and showed minor gains or lost power. Especially lowend torque.

well, I did end up ordering the 2" kooks headers and 3" x-pipe, hoping the headers get here this week.

Headers aren't your problem, I went from cathedral port heads to LS7 with the same LG super Pro 1 3/4" headers and make 580 thru cats.
You may have some vlave float looking at your dyno curve, starts getting a bit choppy at 5200

Theyre still not costing you 50-75 hp. Maybe 20
