Default Gen 3 to gen 4 conversion.
Ok. I decided to do a gen 4 ls3 for my next motor, and I know thanks to search the changes that I need, but does anyone sell everything together as one package?

Scoggin dickey may have or can probably throw together all the harness converters you need if that's what your talking about?

Well I know the front timing cover, valley cover, cam sensor, knock sensor harness all are needed. I didn't know if it was cheaper to buy it as a kit or separately. Thanks.

You could probably piecemeal it together but unless you are buying used parts the total is probably going to be pretty close.

And don't forget the precious damper...LOL

I have the timing chain dampner on my current motor, so I can re-use it or sell it I guess. Maybe I'll contact them directly and talk to them since I already have the ls3 lifter retainers as well.

On the Gen III motors, you have the knock sensors in the valley, but on the Gen IV motors, they aren't there, so you need a solid valley cover.

The bolt pattern/shape is completely different.
