LS3 throttle body conversion
LS3 throttle body conversion i did a little searching and didnt exactly find what i needed. im swapping a built LQ9 in my WS6 and i bought a set of L92 heads for it, now i need a LS3 intake, and a 4 bolt drive by cable TB. I know they make plenty of them but spending $400+ for a NW or fast tb just seems a bit excessive to me. i can grab a stock ls3 tb for pretty cheap so does anyone make a kit to make it a DBC or is there a cheaper alternative to the FAST and NW? and yes ive seen the ebay ones but im always skeptic of ebay parts.

i think you may have misunderstood, or maybe i didnt explain it well. i dont want to make my car a DBW, the car currently runs using drive by cable. is there a way to remove to wire and gears and strap a cable and spring to an existing TB that is dbw. basically i want to take off the parts that signals the TB to open on a dbw and put the thing that rotates the TB blade on a dbc on it, not sure what its called.
No the tb housings are very different. Not only that but the Fbody pcm needs to see an iac motor as well as a tps sensor. The tb housing is actually made to accept those sensors with a dbw setup it's all integrated into the "brain" of the tb. So in short there is no way to convert a dbw tb to cable
