LS3 and 6L80E wiring diagrams NEEDED
Hi
I'm swapping 2013 Camaro's L99+6L80E to my Chevy Impala SS -65
We have already converted that L99 engine to LS3 and we cannot find those wiring diagrams for new harness...
Did some engine tune up also... Cam, headers, FAST LSXR102, etc etc...
Raise your hand if you have those...! Thanks....
I have registered to autozone also but there is nothing for that :/
A quick help is needed now.... THANKS

There's a LS3 Controller Kit (#19258270) and a Transmission Controller (#19257634) that you'll need for the engine and transmission.
They should come with the diagrams for proper connectivity.
You may also want to contact Chevrolet Performance for additional guidance.

If you are using the E38 ECM it also controls the 6L80 transmission. I found my schematics online. The Corvette ones are very, very similar and I have used those. The color code on the wires is the same along with the pin numbers for the two connectors.

Thanks..
I sure have that ECM that controls also that trans... My L99/6L80E was complete pullout from 2013 Camaro SS... With harnesses and gas pedal and ECM/TCM (same box)..
There is now several useless wires because of that L99 -> LS3 conversion... I want to get that harness look like it was made for this... I have found some Silverado schematics and some Escalade schematics but I think those don't fit straight...
Would be nice to get correct ones.....

The Escalade engine/transmission schematics will be very, very close. I have used those as well. The main engine wiring is pretty much all the same. If you find something different do a search on that particular wire, connector or pin out.

Mystery wires
Hi again
Now we have got allmost everything settled down but there are still some mysteries...:
There comes two pairs of wires from gearbox "computer data lines" and those goes to multipin connector that was not connected to that engine... What are those and what should I do with them?
Second mystery wire is X1 connector 18 pin "serial data wake up signal"
What should I do with this one? Is that just "hot" when ignition is turned on?
I'll post this message also to another thread I'm quite hurry now :/

I took the two data wires to my "ALDL" connector in the car. I used I believe something around a 110 ohm resistor across the two wires at the connector signaling the end of the communation run.
As to X1-18 I have nothing in my notes. So it was either already hooked up into the harness or I did nothing with it. The schematics I have show ignition source. Did you do a google search?

Did you talk about those two GMLAN that came from ECM? and wire them up to ALDL connector? Just asking twice because there comes two more pairs from 6L80E gearbox that are "computer data lines system" I assume they are GMLAN high (serial data bus + and -) two times...
Can I just ignore those that comes from gearbox or what?

The 2 GMLAN wires out of the ECM go to the 6l80 transmission. Data in, in relation to the 6L80. Then there are a pair of GMLAN wires coming out of the transmissiom that go to the ALDL connector. Data out. If you had a BCM they would have went there. Hope this helps.
