Default Building a 416 with PRC237 Cathedral heads, intake : MSD vs FAST?

I'm building a 416 out of a L92 block and using a pair of PRC237 heads on top, I'm in the market for a good intake that can peak some good numbers and still drives smooth down low. I was about to get a FAST 102 intake since I already have a 102 NW throttle, but a friend asked me to look at the new MSD air-force intake, it surely looks very different, and I read somewhere that it beats the FAST on a LS7s, but is it as good in cathedral heads???

Then I guess I'll be the guinea pig!, I'll try it out and let you know. I hope it will be at least as good as the FAST.

Tony Mamo did a back to back test between the two. The FAST has longer runners and made more power say below 5500rpm. The MSD with the shorter runners made more power above say 5500rpm. There is a post on the subject here on Ls1tech by Tony.

How big is your Cam? How high do plan HP Peak &
Shift RPM? Read DarthV8r's "Clash of the Titans"
Gen III External thread. My .02 need minimum
245* Intake & 253* Exhast Duration with 6800+RPM
HP Peak & 7200+RPM Shift peak minimum,
Ideally LLSR CAM to take advantage of the
MAMOFIED MSD VS FAST 102.

MSD on the larger motor... I'd probably do the 247s if you don't have the heads (or really the TFS 245s if you haven't picked yet).

You won't notice the missing midrange power. But you'll notice another 500RPM uptop...

I went with a FAST 102 instead. I feel its more suitable to my RPM range (6600 red line).
