Default performance heads companies

Have any of you guys used Next generation performance in Oklahoma or SPS out of Kent washington. I was looking at some of there cylinder head packages. Looks good for the price. I wanted to know about quality, performance and customer care.

Personally, if I were to get new LS3 heads from the aftermarket, I'd go with AFR. http://www.airflowresearch.com/chevy...cylinder-head/

TrickFlow would be a very close second......

Never heard of Next Generation.....and SPS does not list the specs for their heads.

I talked with Gavin at SPS when looking for heads for my 416 build. I think he has a quality product and strongly considered SPS. The turn time didn't match my goals very well because the last set on the shelf had just sold.

My other candidates included Reher-Morrison LS3 heads ported to Darin Morgan's specs. I went with Reher-Morrison after talking in detail with Darin. Reher-Morrison has been excellent in support and build quality. I would buy them again.

I'm not familiar with AFR's LS3 head as it wasn't available at the time I was in the market for heads. Usually AFR's premium price doesn't match my budget.

AFR for aftermarket castings, Texas Speed for CNC-ported OEM castings.

id go with gm performance cnc ls3 heads. They'll flow up there with the top brand names and be a hell of a lot cheaper. HP per dollar, these heads cant be beat. GM is offering a 100 rebate when you buy a pair right now.

A few years back was an article in a major magazine featuring a shootout among most well-known LS3 CNC OEM castings and aftermarket castings. The GMPP CNC heads ended up at the bottom of the group, flow- and performance-wise. Other sources back this up.
