Default 416 LS3, FAST 90 to 102? Others?

Hi everyone. I'm looking to throw a direct port kit on my 12:1 416 LS3, which currently has a ported FAST 90/90 setup (cathedral port TFS 225's) . Currently makes ~530whp on motor. Since I'll be sending an intake off to be plumbed, I'm considering selling the 90/90 and going with a different setup if worthwhile.

What are your thoughts on going from the ported 90 to a ported 102? Other intake recommendations? If I'm leaving ~20hp on the table with the current setup this may be worth it, if not I'll leave it as is. Any info is appreciated!

So if you’re running a 90 you must have cathedral port heads?

The 90mm TB may be good enough for your 416ci.......but I'd still go with a 102 TB and intake.

But hell.....that's just me.

If you’re running cathedral ports you don’t have an ls3. Regardless a ported MSD would likely be best in that situation

I dunno.

I've seen a few people here with LS3 blocks (stroked and stock) and cathedral port heads......you haven't?

It's definitely an LS3. Not uncommon, several posts on here about it.

Yes but I don’t see how that’s an ls3. And it’s confusing when you’re trying to find the best intake because it doesn’t have ls3 heads. It has cathedral ports

He said he has a 416 ls3. He doesn’t. He has a cathedral headed 416.

He edited that after. Regardless. Since it’s a cathedral
Port 416 I’d say a well ported MSD is the best choice

By all means, continue arguing semantics.
