Tranny oil cooler question

Does this quick disconnect fitting unscrew? I've had the left side in a vise but the fitting won't budge.
I picked up this tranny oil cooler at the junkyard last week, want to use AN6 fittings on it like I did on my4L65e tranny.

A little heat from my torch softened up what ever GM was using for a thread seal.
They unscrewed very easy.
I'll be using a 3/8 NPT to AN6 elbow like.

This is my first build using an automatic (4L65e), the torque converter isn't the one specified for this tranny which has a stall speed of 2400-2800. I'm using the one specified for the 4L70e that has a stall speed of 3000-3400. This one was recommended, it can take more of a beating, plus the car will only weigh 2400lbs.
