LSX 454 and boost?
Perhaps... I don't think junkyards over there have as many 5.3's laying around as ours do.
Although with a 6-bolt head it probably withstands boost a little better than a Darton dry sleeve @ 4.185 would.
I think LSX is usually limited to 4.155" bore for boost or nitrous and Darton says the same thing about the dry sleeve. And really it comes down to not enough material for head sealing.
However, moving to a Cometic MLX gasket @ 4.190" and using the 6-bolt head and ARP head studs, I think a 150 shot of nitrous might be okay...
