Magnaflow vs Borla Pro XS

I'm running an LS3 in an old Camaro and trying to decide on the exhaust. Magnaflow vs Borla Pro XS. Both come in a 14" body. Is one of them louder than the other at idle? Anyones person preference on which sounds better? They both appear to flow about the same? Thanks

I have the Borla Pro XS on my 408 Camaro and it's a nice sounding muffler. It's pretty tame in sound I think but sounds smooth, was much quieter than my Ram Rebel with a Carven muffler if that means anything. I have a cutout for when I want to wake the neighborhood up.

HAHA true, mine was the progressive and not the R so maybe helped with 5 decibels lol

I just swapped out a pair of Pypes Street Pro's for some Borla XS Pro's. I love the Borla's, much much better sound. Mine are 2 1/2" with a Pypes x-pipe, tail pipes dumped behind rear tires. The car is a Chevy II wagon hence not wanting to run out the rear and get exhaust smell through the rear glass.

that’s because they pay him. LOL

People should comment on the diameter of pipe and tail pipe diameter . I’m sure that all plays a roll in the overall sound
