Default Truck Intake cover - fabrication

I’m looking to fabricate a cover over my 4.8L Truck intake. A guy off the Chevy 3100 forum made the
one in the picture below which is really nice. He blocked out one of the sides, so only one was functional and added the MAF sensor.
can anyone help me identify where and what MAF sensor I could use? I’d weld the boss in the tube to mount it but a bit lost on what I need.
any other advice on position is welcomed.

thanks!

you could use almost any maf as long as the computer is calibrated for it, most likely he used an ls3 blade style but the tube size will effect the calibration of it

The intake temps with that cleaner location may a real concern.
