Ls3 ? Let me see if I got this right the LS3 or should I just say the 6.2l V8 that comes in the new Escalade that has 403hp. Is that basically the LS3? Does it have iron block or is it alluminum <- that might be spelled wrong.

Vette has a L76 or LS3 intake, better cam, better valves and springs on the heads, and a much better looking car to put all that in! LOL

LS3 has flat top pistons with no no valve reliefs = 10.7:1 compression.
l92 has valve reliefs = 10.5:1 comp.
LS3 has different (supposedly better) rings.
LS3 doesn't have the VVT or DOD yet. L92's do (most of them anyways).

I know the motor isnt out yet not the performance verison any way.
Would any one still have a list of the specs?
I keep hearing the motor is responding well to mods does anyone have any info on that?

LS3's are out. They're in the 08 Vettes.
