KOOKS NEW 2" RACE HEADER

It depends on what a good amount of spray is. LOL my car picked up from straight 1 7/8 to 1 7/8-2 " stepped. last year on the 400 shot. Im pretty sure these will pick up again. but if not i still have my stepped headers. But kooks have a great design and id bet as long as you have 400+ cubes and at least a 200 shot it will not hurt anything.
we put my headers on a 427 all motor car runs 10.0 @ 138 on the motor and it did not loose anywhere over the 1 7/8 straights so id bet add a 200 shot and theres enough exhaust need for the bigger tubes.

what about for n/a. I will have a 200 shot, but typically don't use it unless going to the track. Are 2" going to be overkill na on a dialy driver that occasionally goes to the track?
You'll need big cubes and alot of spray to back up a 2" header. I personally believe that a 2" would be a bit big in the 450 ci range N/A. I got the 1 7/8" stepped to 2" for my 454 n/a build. I'd stick with the stepped until it is a restriction just for the scavenging.
George,
Will Kooks have any offerings for headers purposed for the new Tall deck (GM-LSX and World Castings-Warhawk) blocks. What vehicle platforms will be produced first? Production timeframe estimates?

also interested for my 408(n/a currently, 200 shot later). its a daily driver and i know i need new LT's, i almost pulled the trigger on the 1-7/8" stepped to 2" set earlier this week and will now wait to hear some results of these especially for the smaller big cube motors.
