I am thinking about doing a cam swap later this month. I am going to have to buy a LS6 intake but would rather have this one. But if it's going to be mid summer I can't wait. I would have probably been a guieni(sp) for how much one would make with a reverse split cam.

Maybe next year when it comes out I can switch.

well you can always sell the ls6 intake afterwards. although they will probably be going for half of what they are right now.

I'm glad now that I didn't wait and went with a ported FAST. It'll be summer before it gets into people's hands, and then it'll be a while before the dust settles of whether it's worht the money or not.

It'll be cool if it delivers as promised, but who knows.

I think I would rather wait until "summer" AS long as HOLLY gets it right. Nothing worse than having something rushed to the market to find out it doesent fit or work properly!

EXACTLY my thinking. Even if it is as good or slightly better than the fast, they FINALLY have some real competition. Knowing how Starr Performance products are, I have no doubt that it will be good. Might not be a big cube 7200rpm monster, but thats where the "race warrior" will come in

Well the Wife "WAS" going to get me the FAST 90/90 setup but I'll wait for this intake instead. I don't want to spend $1200 for an intake.

there is an adapter on the intake so you can use both 78 and 90mm TB...a nice feature for everybody.

i know this on page 20 and ive only so read to page 9 but i have to completely disagree. ill show some loyalty when the guys over at fast whom are so dedicated to us that they *** rape us with their over the top prices. pricing is the main reason im going to buy this even if it only matches the fast's power.

well I think if it matches fast power and is cheaper you won't be the only one buying it.

Sounds like duke nukem forever.

I was excited when I saw this. I just don't think for my setup a fasth 92/92 is worth the 1400 dollars. I was planning on some mods in april, and wanted a new intake, but if they dont' get it out untily I"ll just skip it and go 92/92 next year if I get a set of heads. Seems like they could sell a bunch of these if they got them to markert.

Well, after reading the whole thread, it looks good to me. I'll take 30 under the curve horsepower over my LS6, if it truly does this. Would be nice to not rev as high.

On another note, by buddies 02SS didn't make much more with a FAST 78 over his LS6. It just made peak HP earlier. Nothing wrong with making power earlier. I don't need to spin higher than that.

I'll be trying this with an MS3 and 5.3 heads after I get back from Iraq.

I will be interested to see some non-developer numbers though.
