What does the "rep" do? Most "reps" are sale product making them Sales Reps = sales guy. Not trying to be a smartass but you can call the person what ever you want he is still a sales guy.

they better not delay it to long. just reading this thread, you can see a few people who already bailed and went FAST. they push it back again, and even more will say "F this, i aint waiting no mo'"

If they can delay you just long enough that you aren't buying an intake yet, then they have succeeded. So they don't want to be honest and tell you it's going to be another 5-6 months, but don't want to say 2 weeks either. So they say something like 4-6 weeks, which to many people they justify the wait, but when you call in 4-6 weeks, it's another delay.

If upfront you knew it was going to be 8-10+ months, you would never have waited and would have just picked up a proven FAST 92mm. Even if it's more money, it's less of a gamble and you can have it in your hands in a matter of days, not promises.

Plus who's to say that the first 3-4 batches won't have problems.

well they have us L92 guys locked up, we don't have any other options in this price range. Its either L76, port that or go with a sheet metal. The carb intake sucks with an elbow, so it is not even worth considering. So they can leave us all hanging if they want, but watch edelbrock or FAST beat them to market with a L92 intake they will wish they had it out sooner.

Well my 408 will be here next week from what I'm told and I still am waiting to buy the heads, intake, and cam. I want to use the L92 heads so if I don't here anything soon it looks like I'll be getting the L76.

I can wait if it's actually going to be what they say it is, and if they can raise the RPM's that would be MUCH better! I'm thinking about going FAST just because this one doesn't support the RPM's I want to be running after my build.

the carb intake works great with the 4 barrel throttle bodies! just something to throw out there!

sure, but then you have the hassle of filtering it properly an all that. plus it makes it hard to run a MAF unless you put an elbow ontop of it, and run it out the front like normal...then you are back to square one. I'm a SD guy myself, but I know plenty of people who prefer a MAFed setup, yet another reason we need this manifold to be released.
