I went with the et 6bolt heads for my 427lxs set-up. Because I didn't want to wait for heads from gm.

Bob at All Pro is the man. I called in there once and the lady gave me his cell phone number to call him while he's on vacation. Now that's customer service! That pretty much made up my mind with getting a set of their heads. I have the 230cc ones though. No monster motor for me.

I should have a set of their C5R 6 Bolt heads to play with soon.

When I get a moment I'll post some pictures of the GMPP Prototype race 6 bolt heads that were on display at SEMA and PRI.

Not completely on point but Hot Rod just had an awesome article where they put a bunch of GM crate motors in an old Chevelle and ran it down the quarter mile. One was the 454 LSX crate motor that was taked about in 2006 or 2007. They said it would be available in early 2009. I assume it also has the 6 bolt heads.

Seems like GM has more important issues to deal with now but it kind of sucks. They were also supposed to have an aluminum version of the LSX that almost seems to have been forgotten.

I just picked up that copy and plan to read it on the plane in a few minutes on my way back home from Puerto Rico. I hope something else comes available mid next year when I'm ready for the 6 bolts.

Pretty close to the truth here. The heads and the tall deck are in the works. I have not heard anything about the Aluminum LSX block lately.

I may be on the outside looking in now, but when I was on the inside of the fence the writing was already on the wall. Friends still there do tell a sad story of how things are going

Here's a tip, if you call Summit and ask for part # TFS-3060T003-C03 that will get you a set of 6 bolt per cylinder TFS 235's with interlocking valve seats for $2549. They are not on the TFS or Summit website, but they are in stock.

Thanks Brian!

I'll have to check and see what my Atech price is now .

Do you know what size the valves are, if they come in 72cc? I have way more wrapped up in my AFR's with the valve and spring upgrades I did than these things cost.
