one question:

what would it cost for a set of these headers on a 3rd gen. fbody using an L92 head? 1 7/8" primaries to a 3.5" collector? motor is a 13:1 6.0 using a carbed intake and 2 stage plate setup <200 hp. expecting 500 whp on motor and ~700 on n2o.

There was a long thread on the C6 Z06 forum about brand X headers new 1 7/8-2" step headers and several people tried them with confusing (at best) results. When do the larger or step headers net results?

I think I like my 1 7/8" with 3" mids but I am often asked "should I go 1 7/8" or even bigger with my new motor (we build them) and I can't make an educated recommendation.
I would love to know the answer myself.

cheers

Okay I am dragging up old threads in search of header advice. I was looking at the Kooks 2", but still on the fence about what we want.

I really like the ARH setups and was thinking of a 1 7/8 primary when I noticed the Kooks. Now 2" may or may not be overkill but I also don't want to spend $2,000 on just headers and y-pipe either.

This will be for a 454 LSX with a LS7 top end and some spray...

By far the best header built for our cars!! No cookie cutter pipes and collectors like the competition.Glad to see you guys made it on here!

Azrael, I think it would be smart if we spoke by phone. I'd like to go over some important details before recommending a specific set-up. I'm sure we can narrow it down. Reach me at 631-608-1986. Thanks.

8ty8, You are correct. That would be a custom job that requires the vehicle be brought to our facility.
