Love the new z06s, and was wondering what you guys where making w/ H/C on stock cubes (as if 427CIs ain't enough). Was thinking of getting a Z after law school (meaning after I pay back the loans so they don't chop my legs off) for the DD. Course by then there will probably be a C12 z06!

I had about 20 track passes and maybe 2500 miles. I always want to be on top in my neighborhood and there's a '74' Dart that's a real pain in the arss! It's pretty well a racecar, tubbed, lexon windows and 14.1 comp..........all that good stuff but I'm still gunning for him! Good clean fun and it keeps the blood pumpin and the heart healthy!! Traver

We have built a 611rwhp LS7 in a C5. We have built a few cam only 580+rwhp C6Z06's.....our standard smaller LS7 cam which is pretty mild-med usually does about 540 to the tire. With the right cam and heads the LS7 is capable of big power.

I'm not embarrassed to say my track times at 535 RWHP. I was running 11.1's in the quarter and cutting 1.49 60ft times on Nitto drag radials and a hefty 3,820 race weight. I could never launch off the line more then 2000 RPM's cause my Nittos would bust loose everytime! If I would of had some Bogarts and drag tires I would have definately broke the 10's. Check out my video in the 11 second section of the board. Traver

The last thing I feel like doing is blowing the stock 2001 rear end on my car "proving a point"

Just to update since my 441 build is done. I'm now at 564/516 at the rear wheels. It doesnt' seem like much more but through a 4L60e and a Ford 9" I don't think it's too bad since I did run a 10.46 at 131 MPH the first time at the track. Also got a 6.4 at 110 MPH through the 1/8th before I got the boot for not having a bar! Traver

Are the 427's you guys are building streetable? I'm looking to go either 416 or 427. I'm leaning towards 416 since I'm told I could still use a little spray or boost. I'm told the 427 isn't really for boost or spray. Any input?
